BarryKeymasterR8 is the CLR. Any value from 1k to 4.7k.
The higher the value the dimmer the LED.
BarryKeymasterExcellent Job! Thanks for sharing and I am glad you are liking it.
BarryKeymasterBarring any component value anomalies an Afterblaster can make the final volume whatever you need.

I am familiar with this complaint so I would go over it carefully using this guide from the Build Doc as shown below. Inspect every color band.

BarryKeymasterSwitches are not installed. SW1 and SW2.
See Ratt Clipping Chart in build guide and BOM on Page 1 or schematic.
Install the correct switch to the correct pads to complete the circuit.
BarryKeymasterChip is in backwards I believe.
The dot on the chip represents Pin 1.
BarryKeymasterI am not sharing the math til I see a little more participation or perhaps a guess or three.
BarryKeymasterAwesome!
You know when I sent you this (before release) I included a note telling you how wonderful this is.
I am glad you got it built up and thanks for the report!!
BarryKeymasterThe Crash Course Guide (page 5) as well as A Beginners Guide to Components (page 14) both located on our Guides Page cover it.
You should read all of the Guides on our Guides Page because that is there for all of the items that we do not want to squeeze into every Project Build Guide for brevity.
BarryKeymasterThe LED is supposed to be active so you can see the RATE before engaging it.
BarryKeymasterIt is supposed to blink when it is off so you can visually see the RATE flashing before engaging the pedal. This way you will know the time without having to engage the pedal for everybody else to hear.
BarryKeymasterIncrease the trimmers to 20k or so and you should be able to Bias all the options fine.
That will of course depend on the transistors themselves but like Wilkie said try em out.
BarryKeymasterWow that is a great story! Thank you for sharing such a well thought out presentation. It looks fantastic! I am glad you added the Tone TwEQ and may this be a reminder to others to incorporate the Tone TwEQ wherever you can. The Tone TwEQ is also considered a Mod Board and is part of our Bulk Discount Deals.
I think the story also clearly shows none of us are perfect so to certain posters Please Share Photos for quicker troubleshooting. As opposed to saying “I built it correctly but it doesn’t work” with no photos attached.
I appreciate the candor.
BarryKeymasterI would suggest rechecking the wiring of the Input Jack against Das Musikdings guide.
I am not familiar with his wiring layout or boards and I cannot clearly see what is going to where.
BarryKeymasterYou are welcome and enjoy your Hobby!
Don’t forget to post in the Show Off section of the Forum.

BarryKeymasterThese could be backwards too but I cannot see the connections well enough. Provide a better picture.

BarryKeymasterSwitch these at the Jack Lugs.
