BarryKeymasterAvailable now in the SHOP. First release comes with the special transistors bundled.
BarryKeymasterIf you go to our Tips Tricks and Tutorials section of the forum and under Build Guides. (also available from the Home Page as a large green button) you will see a multitude of important guides listed in a row.
Here is the direct link: https://guitarpcb.com/forums/topic/pedal-building-guides-mandatory-reading/
Once there we have an Audio Probe Explained guide. This may be helpful depending on what you found on the internet.
BarryKeymasterFor starters here is an old post from the old site:

If you have trouble accessing try refreshing the link.
I do not see where you could go wrong using a buffer.
BarryKeymasterI would follow the usual troubleshooting ideas listed in the tips tricks and tutorials section of the forum which would include checking all values by code and verify orientation and re-flowing all solder joints. Since this is a complex build an audio probe may also prove useful to narrow down the list of suspects quickly.
Here is a proper breakdown of the correct voltages and audio path.

BarryKeymasterProbably 1 day at most
BarryKeymasterExcellent! Thanks for taking the time to lay it all out so we can all see the process involved!
BarryKeymasterThe After Blaster is an added gain stage that would fit over a foot switch.
The 2KJ is designed to make one knob perform as two.
BarryKeymasterHi,
Keep in mind we participated in a private degoop project and helped fund it.
That said the P-2 uses the exact same board as the G-2. In other words both boards say P2/G2 on it.
Since there was no noticeable sonic difference (to our ears) we did not pursue the project any further.
Basically they are so similar they are really the same. Add to that both are very much similar to the BMP.
There was a definitive sonic difference in the Super Sonic to warrant the project.
I hope that helps.
Also remember we try to avoid ™ names so to be clear our projects are similar but (not to be misinterpreted as clones) in our forum if you have further comments. We did a deep analysis in our upgraded build document of the G-02 Animal and you can read that here: https://guitarpcb.com/product/g-02-animal-cornish-style-heavy-gilmour-style-overdrive/
It is our opinion that there just is not enough of a difference to warrant the project when you can build a BMP variant with our Muff’n board and add the Buffer Board to the foot-switch or build a G-02 Animal with built in buffer and achieve a similar enough result hence why the P2/G2 circuit are created on the exact same circuit board.
BarryKeymasterWell spank me sideways. That is what I get for answering at midnight.
BarryKeymasterHave a look at the schematic. You will see by flipping the switch SW2 (Kill Switch) you are effectively bypassing the entire top half of the circuit schematic while simultaneously giving you control over the BLevel or Buffer Level not previously available.
Always a wise decision to incorporate the Kill Switch as it gives you two pedals in one. Enjoy!
BarryKeymasterA long read but well worth it!
BarryKeymasterUpdate: Just fixed the shop to show Sold Out products.
Incidentally we usually require 2 weeks for restocking but in the grand scheme our intention with all the features of the new site including an inventory status feature I can now rely on that “Out Of Stock” will shortly be a thing of the past.

BarryKeymasterThe Biggest Tip I will offer when building combo’s is to make sure each individual circuit is thoroughly tested and functioning before wiring them altogether in a Combo as this will make any potential troubleshooting so much easier.
Again check out Playsforfun’s Combo Build Guide for many more ideas.
BarryKeymasterIt is just sold out for now.
The Cart is automatically setup to not display any items out of stock.
I would prefer to have it show as Sold Out which you will see when I figure that out.

BarryKeymasterHere is another take on a John Mayer style combo courtesy of Playsforfun:
This one uses the following boards:
- Blues Buster – Blues breaker style circuit
- MKC – Modified Klon style circuit w/ Mods
- Tube Screaming Ultra – Our highly modifiable Tube Screamer project board
- GPCB Mosfet Booster – A Mosfet Boost courtesy of AMZ
- After Blaster – Used as an added gain Stage to Blues Buster for Morning Glory style Mod
Another extremely useful and versatile combo in a 1590DD enclosure that would fit in a Gigbag.

BarryKeymasterWell done and I love the combination as well as the graphics.
