AA reverb query

Hi guys,

I just built a Ancestral Apparition and it works as expected, its just that when I engage it it reduces the guitar volume, I have it as the last pedal in a chain of 8 and its connected to a 500mA output as I heard they suck a bit of juice. Is that just the nature of the circuit?

I would say no Stu mine doesn’t drop any noticeable volume but as you know pedal order can cause problems but you’re correct having it at the end of your chain

Saying that the one I built was in a combo with an FV1 eqd organizer which I know has a volume problem and if anything my AA increased the volume

Barring any component value anomalies an Afterblaster can make the final volume whatever you need.

 

I am familiar with this complaint so I would go over it carefully using this guide from the Build Doc  as shown below. Inspect every color band.
