BarryKeymasterI was just thinking to myself yesterday, where are the playsforfun builds I have been waiting on?
We are off to a good start. Thanks for sharing.
If someone wants to build the Hot Chilicon they can do that now via the Sriracha.
BarryKeymasterThat extra tiny hole is called a VIA.
When a board is that compact sometimes it is necessary to create a via although we try to avoid it at GPCB.
BarryKeymasterYou can power them all by using GuitarPCBs added/surplus +9v pads. All starting with the single power jack. This way you do not have to add extra wires to a single pad. You can just add one board via the previous on. See our Combo Guides on the Guides page.
BarryKeymasterWhat Billy said although I would bet you received 3PDT foot switches so that you can change the function with your feet as opposed to bending over and flipping a switch. The options are yours.
BarryKeymasterThat is a really nice job and thanks for sharing!
Can you post a picture that does not cut-off any portion of the pedal? I may like to use it in a future collector card if I can get a good full pedal photo to work with.
BarryKeymasterYou must use a Mosfet in this circuit.
I have BS170 in my store for .29 each currently.
BarryKeymasterIt just signifies that there is a great amount of tolerance between transistors.
The important thing is that you have it biased in a good range that works, and sounds great.
BarryKeymasterAwesome!
Share your build if you like.
BarryKeymasterI would temporarily wire it without the switch to make sure the circuit itself is working properly.
Then I would test continuity pattern of the switch (type 1 or type 2) to determine correct wiring.
The New Sunn T doc is the proper wiring for the circuit.

BarryKeymasterNext I would redo the Audio wiring. In and Out.
Make sure the wire pvc is flush with the board and it is a solid connection.

Also make sure the back of the pots are not making contact with the main board.

BarryKeymasterDo you have the trimmer dialed in to perfection.
It is a very narrow setting between effect and no effect.
BarryKeymasterCrossing the audio wiring would not have affected your capacitors.
I would start by re-flowing all of the solder pads on the back of the board. Carefully lift the pots and get behind those as well.
Heat the solder till it is shiny and let each of them cool on their own. Have some solder handy to add a bit more where needed.
I would do that before looking for a bad capacitor.
BarryKeymasterThanks for sharing.
I am glad to hear you get the kids involved. That is something I have always done and it builds a strong bond.
Everything looks fantastic.
BarryKeymasterGlad to see it . This is a classic tone box!
BarryKeymasterThat’s awesome!
I would be very interested in tandem tones and what those sound like.
BarryKeymasteror Buff N Blend.
BarryKeymasterAwesome Tank! Thanks for posting.
I am sure you can dial in the Muff Tones of your dreams with that combo!
