I am building a Super Sonic for Bass. On another forum, a builder did one for bass and said some of the caps needed to be increased to really bring out the bass. Does anyone have any thoughts?
I’d start by socketing C1, C2 & C7 and increasing C1 to 100nF, C2 to 10nF and C7 to 100nF. (Mind you, it’s an educated guess. I don’t have or play a bass to test it.)
I was thinking 100n to 220n for c1 and c7. I will definitely socket and see.
