First time working with any kind of delay circuit, figured I would go all in with the tap tempo and WF Infinite Repeats mod.

Very straightforward build, spent more time on figuring out the acrylic pour painting and the epoxy resin finish than the actual pedal guts.

Interior shot was taken before I wired the bypass switch and jacks.

That is a gorgeous finish job!  I’ve never tried the acrylic pour painting but this has me thinking it’s time to give it a try! Nice job man!!

    Thanks Steve!

The acrylic pour painting is really fun, my kids love it and we have done a bunch of canvases together. It took a bit of trial and error to figure out how to fully cover the enclosure vs. a flat canvas. I actually cut a 2×4 down into a bunch of smaller chunks and practiced on those.

Once the paint was fully cured I covered with epoxy resin. First time using that on a pedal and made a few mistakes but I am really pleased with how it turned out.

If that was a very straightforward build, then you are very courageous. I can see that it took a long time with the little extra touches all over like shrink boot. Very nice, Ben. You encourage me to do some things that I never tried, like a stand alone d’Lay for one. And that paint job, outstanding. Enjoy.

    Thanks for sharing.

I am glad to hear you get the kids involved. That is something I have always done and it builds a strong bond.

    Everything looks fantastic.
