BarryKeymasterYou would need to provide a schematic image and a blank board image.
BarryKeymasterThanks Ron. I appreciate the input.
You should Like GuitarPCB on Facebook or Instagram to stay on top of all the circuits I am presently updating and adding a 1N5817 is part of that upgrade. Visuals and info on FB and Instagram as well as a thread here.
BarryKeymasterTR1 allows you top dial in the Quad set since there is going to be different tolerances.
The 45/90 Mod already in the build document would be similar to a Wet and Less Wet Mod.
You can add a Buff N Blend to the circuit on the 3PDT foot switch easily for even more Blend control.
Adding a Volume would be as simple as having a Stage 3 Booster which you would need anyway if using a Buff N Blend since the Vibe inverts the signal so you would have to place it in series with the Vibe in the Buff N Blend audio path.
If not using a Buff N Blend then it does not matter about phase inversion since then there would be no parallel signal. So again you would just insert a Stage 3 Boost after the Vibe circuit in series and voila.
If you feel you need more Vibe replication than that then you should probably look for a Vibe circuit that utilizes photocells instead albeit they are much more expensive and more complex to build. That is why I do not carry one.

BarryKeymasterWow that is your best yet I believe!
Thanks so much for sharing that.
Regarding posting pictures I believe there is a 10MB cap per post on uploading.
So do the extra 9v and GND pads we provide ever come in handy?
BarryKeymasterA Uni-vibe is actually a phaser with different components to achieve that tone you want.
Someone de-gooped a Love-poodle Vibe years ago only to discover it was a GGG phaser board with mods similar to ours.
What you could do is install our The Vibe into a Wah Shell and you would have something pretty cool.
BarryKeymasterWay to utilize the side walls to cram it all in there!
Thanks for sharing.
BarryKeymasterThat is an excellent combo build.
Thanks so much for sharing!
BarryKeymasterAwesome work and this circuit does sound awesome I agree fully!
Thanks for posting.
BarryKeymasterThe Emerald Ring Inverts the Phase.
Tack on a small Stage 3 on the side wall for more pronounced tones and correct the phase.
BarryKeymasterYah that is just a bit premature.
I sent those to him for hold until ready.
Unfortunately you have soldered resistors to it already. I will write Pedal Parts Australia and let him know.
I guess the cat is out of the bag?

BarryKeymasterI am using an HP Deskjet 1010. Real high end stuff.

All I can say is you can’t bake a cake at the same temperature in Denver, Co as I do In Pa.
Things to try.
- Try curing it for 2 days not one.
- Use a hair dryer on the image for a few minutes before applying.
- Use a soft fiber cloth and do not press it down.
- Use a small rubber squeegee instead of a cloth.
- I am assuming you are using glossy photo paper.
- Avoid breakfast cereal at all costs.
Maybe you should post a video of what you are doing so I can tell you what you are doing wrong?
BarryKeymasterWell build issues aside if there even is any there is a lot of subjective to be had here.
A circuit is a circuit so this is absolutely a Buzzaround and not a Rat.
That said this circuit is absolutely loud by design:

As for the distortion it produces it is absolutely very high gain by design so I can understand the Rat comparison.
Check this out, it is the exact same circuit:
After watching that if you want to try and Mod the Level back that is possible. Ours is based exactly on the highly sought after original. Value by value. Also you turn the Volume down on the Guitar which is the recommendations from the internet for Buzzaround owners especially if using hot pickups. As for the Fuzz character you can adjust the BIAS aka TIMBRE for a slightly gated tone.
BarryKeymasterThink of it as a Hole in One. Just about as rare but happens.
BarryKeymasterThat looks like a spilled blob of solder to me. In other words that is not a manufacturing defect if it is solder.
If it is solder try a soldapult, solder wick or toothpick on it while heating the pad.
I mean I have done this myself but saw it actually happen when a tiny drop fell off my iron and splatted on the board.
If it does not melt then that is the only thing like that I have ever seen before. I could send another board either way.
By the way I checked my other boards and they do not look like that.
BarryKeymasterThe Ground Between you wiring board and the Main Board are not connected consistent in the photos.
This leads me to believe they are just laying loose on the boards. They need to be soldered and connected to each other.
So make sure you are soldering +9v wiring and Ground wiring so there is constant connectivity between the two boards.
Then I would start biasing the transistor voltages.
BarryKeymasterSame here. Kids take you on a serious Detour.
You know what else I noticed from a marketing standpoint.
That girl above has had a YouTube channel for little over a year and has +200,000 subscribers.
Yes she is making much more than minimum wage with just that.
I have been doing this for 13 years and have +1,500 subscribers. Time to break out the jammies?
BarryKeymasterI used to use a Deville back in the last band I was in about 25 years ago.
It was a monster and sounded great. What the heck happened to the time?
Here is one without Jammies Chuck:
