BarryKeymasterThat looks fantastic and thanks for sharing!
BarryKeymasterI’m glad to hear you’re digging the combo! It looks fantastic and really professional. That pairing opens up a killer range of tones, smooth and articulate from the DumbleTone, then the Gypsy Fuzz brings in that vintage fire. It’s one of those setups that just feels right under the fingers, especially if you’re chasing tones in the vein of Joe Bonamassa, Eric Johnson, or Hendrix. Thanks for posting!
BarryKeymasterI would use those. They will be just fine.
If it helps I always use needle nose when bending leads on glass diodes.
BarryKeymasterThanks Playsforfun, I fixed the typo and replaced the pdf file.
If you download it again be sure to refresh first so you do not get a cached copy.
BarryKeymasterIn the shop under the NostalgiTone/Components section.
Ribbon cables are there too.
BarryKeymasterExcellent build and thank you for sharing.
That is lot of Punch packed into a single pedal so the Sandwich makes a lot of sense. I am wondering if the average person realizes how small the 1590BB2 pedal footprint is for the dual combos?
Maybe I need to provide scale?

I am very glad you enjoy it. It is certainly a favorite of mine.
BarryKeymasterEither value works perfectly fine, though most people typically have a 10M on hand.
Using a 10M in the voltage divider raises the input bias slightly to around 1.09V compared to 0.98V. In this context, that tenth of a volt is completely negligible and won’t affect performance, nor have any effect on tone.
BarryKeymasterThat looks great! Thanks for sharing.
I am glad you added the mods.
BarryKeymasterThanks so much for posting — I love it!
I really hope more folks catch on to just how good these Dual Combos sound. I’m absolutely loving the tones from that setup.
Check out this awesome review from just yesterday!

BarryKeymasterLove the Star Trek nod with the red LED at the tip! 🚀 It’s always great to see someone have fun with the build. Plus, as a fellow Star Trek fan, I can’t help but appreciate the effort to channel that vibe. 😄
Thanks for sharing your work — it’s awesome to see the NostalgiTone Phaser come to life like this!”

BarryKeymasterA quick tip: Watch out for the sharp angles between the foot-switch boards and the main board once everything’s mounted in the enclosure. It looks like the ribbon cable might be under unnecessary strain. This stress can cause connection issues now, or later.

With regard to the Phaser foot-switch PCB I am not liking the ground connection pad.
I would carefully re-flow the back side of all six pads.

The reverse side also shows that a re-flow is required.

BarryKeymasterThanks everyone!
Yes, I went from 45 to 60 just like that.
BarryKeymasterWell done and thanks for sharing.
It certainly is a great hobby.
