    Again, awaiting the arrival of two of these beauties. The BoM lists 2n2, while the schematic lists 3n3. I’ve breadboarded it and changing the value doesn’t seem to make much difference.

    A fantastic-sounding circuit in any case.

    Forgive my nit-picking. I read the build guides very closely while I wait.

    mybud – you’re correct – it really doesn’t matter which one is used for guitar. For a bass guitar, I’d go with the 3n3. Barry will likely chime in at soon to rectify the discrepancy in the document.

    Thanks as ever, CC. Hadn’t thought of that and hadn’t tried it for bass.

    Might be worth exploring a switchable option to open up low end for bass, using one of Barry’s DPDT boards with selectable cap values to accommodate the different ranges of bass and guitar, both of which I play. I’ll breadboard it and see what works.
