    Built it this evening and I’m not clear what I should do here.  The following was copied from build doc:
    <div class=”page” title=”Page 1″>
    <div class=”layoutArea”>
    <div class=”column”>

    *R12 has been included for those wishing to Mod the circuit with a Red (Hot) – BLUE (Normal) switch by placing a Jumper (Hot) on one side of a DPDT switch (or use one of our DPDT wiring boards) and a value between 47k – 100k for your BLUE tone on the other side. Then simply connect the switch to R12. Tip: Use a 3PDT switch to add an LED status to the Mod.

    </div>
    </div>
    </div>

    I was hoping to build a simple 3 knobber, and I interpreted this to mean I should simply omit R12.  Circuit did not work.  I threw a 1k in R12 and it started working, but sounded weird at the very low volume I am able to test at in my garage while still remaining married.  What value should I use?  I interpreted it as the jumper was only necessary when using the additional hot/cold switching.  Just to be clear, I was hoping to make a very simple 3 knob pedal with no additional switching (I know, boring).  Please advise.  Thanks in advance.

    Update:

    I get it now.  False alarm.  Works great with an 82k for my needs.

    Update 2:  After messing with different resistor values, I get why I should have made it switchable.  Will do on the next one.  Sounds awesome, but the ability to switch between 2 values would be the s#$t.
