just finished wiring up every thing, and something is off.

when led is on there’s no signal, when led is off it sounds like the effect is engaged, but the volume is way low. all knobs work too.

i’m a noob and I have no clue how to troubleshoot this, but that whole 3pdt pcb threw me off, soo I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s where the problem is.

any help would be much appreciated

i’m reluctant to post a pic bc i’m embarrassed with my wiring job haha

    thanks

We need pics can’t really help without seeing it post pics of both sides of the board so that we can clearly see all components and trace the wiring and inspect solder joints

No one’s here to judge anything we all started somewhere none of us were born making perfect pedals that’s for sure

Some information on 3PDT wiring on page 21

weird.. I think its working as it should now.. my guitar signal is going thru when the pedal is off.. I guess I installed the led so when the pedal is off the led is on.. not a biggie..

feel free to point out any issues from the pics if anybody notices .. with this pedal, since its so crazy, its hard to tell if something is wrong haha

    hopefully no other issues arise

    thanks

    Hi and welcome,

The 3PDT Board has its own Build Guide located on the Guides Page under Master Build Document List

Once you see that you will notice the LED is placed incorrectly. The Off status is the Non-White Pad.

Also be careful you are not shorting out the PCB to the enclosure with the solder joints on the back.

Try some of our non-conductive Gum Wadz or similar to secure it to the base once you are sure it is working correctly.

Everybody starts at the beginning 😉

thanks billy and Barry for the help. I’ve got everything in order now and it sounds and works great.

this build was a bit of a challenge for me, mostly with the wiring and keeping everything neat and organized. my pcb is kinda floating in the air haha, but I did put the the gum stuff on to avoid any shorting out.

    thanks  again
