I ask this question because I would be interested having two different types of effect in parallel loop1 and loop 2, in addition to the clean sound of my guitar!

GuestI rewrite here:
Hi all guys
Is it possibile add another switchable and adjustable fx loop 2 in the paramix?
In out
Insert in Insert out
Fx loop 1
Fx loop 2
I ask this question because I would be interested having two different types of effect in parallel loop1 and loop 2, in addition to the clean sound of my guitar! Thanks

Guestusing both the dry signal ‘insert’ loop and wet signal effects loop will give you a parallel effect, and also the ability to adjust for any phase issue you might have between the two signals. with some clever switching you could add bypass switches to both loops. i’ve had a paramix on the bench for some time now, but may finally have a plan for it 🙂

GuestHi Rob
my ideal parallel pedal would be the one that allows me to have 2 loops and also the dry sound at the same time. If you use an insert effect the dry signal would automatically disappear. The maximum would be to add another loop to the existing one:
In out
Insert in Insert out
Fx loop 1
Fx loop 2
in this way I would be able to use 2 parallel loops and have a dry sound at the same time.
I’ve already ordered my paramix and before it arrives I’m informing about this mod.

GuestI thought adding a buff & blend before going into the paramix. Could there be phase issues? Can someone tell me how to connect it correctly?
Thanks

GuestYou can add a Buff N Blend either before the Paramix or after it. Wire the OUT of the Buff N Blend to the IN of the Paramix (if adding it before the Paramix). OR, send the OUT of the Paramix to the IN of the Buff N Blend. Now you will have 2 parallel effects loops. One in the Paramix and the other in the Buff N Blend.
A Phase issue will only occur if an effect installed in a parallel loop is out of phase with the signal in the dry path. See the forum for more information on phase issues.

Guesti second wilkie1’s suggestion. he’s a pro, and i like your idea. here’s what i have chosen for my own enjoyment, inspired by the old Rockman headphone amp. …

GuestThanks to reply guys
My paramix and buff and blend came!
Now I have 1 problem and 2 questions:
Problem is the pedal box: I have to change from BB to DD to get it all in(look photo).
The questions are:
1) Is kill dry switch to able to mute the dry signal and let playing the 2 loops?
2) Is 100% wet switch to able to raise the mixing to the maximum of the 2 loops, or will it raise only 1?
Thanks again

GuestOk guys,
for reasons of space on the pedalboard I’m forced to abandon the double parallel loop idea and opt for a traditional paramix.
Thanks for help me anyway.
I’ll show you my finished paramix.

GuestLadies and Gentlemen, my Paramix!
The phase change switch and the 100% wet mod are excellent.
Potentiometers are not definitive (you’ll see later) but that’s how it already looks. Thanks for the advice and good music!
