    Hi All-

I’m building a Mini Me … 2021 with the jumper pads under the BBD chip.  I’m building with a straight up MN3207 but the build guide only talks about jumpers for the V3207  (and MN3007)  and the board is just labelled “3207”.  Do I populate the jumpers for a MN3207 ?  and Do I populate the IN4148 diode ?  …. or is that just needed for the V3207 ?    .

Thanks for any help.  I populated both and not getting any effect … just a very slight drop in volume when I engage effect.  Figured I would ask before I did anymore troubleshooting.

    Thanks,

    Bob

Bob, I believe the MN3207 is supposed to be a close to direct replacement for the V3207 – so, the same jumpers would need to be used along with the 1N4148.  Do you have both grounds from the board hooked up?  That pesky G2 on the upper left corner has stumped several builders.

    Chuck-

Thanks very much.  I had missed the G2 pad.  Now I can get a chorus effect.  Still need to mess with it a bit.  The Speed pot works fine but the Depth pot gives me some very odd helicoper and other weird sounds at some spots and I can only dial in a small range with the Depth pot to get a reasonable chorus sound.

    Hi All-

Anyone have any ideas on what would cause the Mini-Me to have strange sounds (pulsating thump aon top of high pitched whirling/whistling is best way I can describe) about midway on the Depth Pot for about 1/4 of the rotation and on either side of it (less depth and more depth) the noise goes away and control seams responsive.

I tried with another pot (C1M) and no change.  I also have tried with an old MN3207 and a newer CoolAudio V3207 and no difference.

    Thanks for any suggestions,

    Bob
