ParticipantWoohoo!!! Well done, sir. We hope to see more of your completions in the future.
Ugly?? Who said anything ‘bout that!?! P-touch, especially the clear backed tape, is awesome, especially when using the Brother editor app.

BarryKeymasterCongrats on getting it up and running! That is definitely a more ambitious choice of circuits for an early build. The standing resistors look great too.
Most important thing is that it works and now you have a solid foundation moving forward from here.
Here’s a helpful tip for soldering jacks: apply a small amount of liquid flux to the jack lugs before soldering. It helps the solder flow evenly and makes the job much easier. This works for input/output jacks, power jacks, or really anywhere you want cleaner, easier solder joints.

Great Job! What’s next?

Vokinn72ParticipantThanks Guys! And thanks for the tip there Barry. I’ll grab some liquid flux ASAP.
Well the next build is the Space Modulator 🙂 Just waiting for it to arrive from Musikding. I’ve also bought some VW hubcaps to turn into copies of the Arbiter fuzzface pedals as my brother in law is a guitarist AND a VW freak.
I’ve also started doing some free online electronics courses online so I can understand what I’m doing rather than just following the instructions. I can’t explain how much fun it was building that first pedal. It’s all I can think about now lol!
Thanks again guys!

brdParticipantVery well done. It looks better than my last build. After the space modulator you’ll be ready to start building tube amps. I just recently discovered the magic of Barry’s Emerald Ring into a fuzz face, very funky. My next advice is to make an audio probe https://drive.google.com/file/d/1T9OsJ0riQhm1QFWPfNQ5q5guikuFKDRN/view. Hopefully you will never need it, but it’s a must have for troubleshooting.
Best
