I finished this a few days ago but just got around to posting now.
All went well with the exception of not reading about the fix for the “toggle makes no difference” issue in the forums.
After diving back in, I changed R5 to 220k as Barry suggested, and it works much better. Still a bit subtle but absolutely can hear the difference, and I like both positions so that’s a bonus.

I was contemplating a toggle in lieu of the DIP, but I didn’t have a small enough switch, so just drilled a port in the bottom over the DIP with a silicone plug. I tend to be mostly a “set and forget” kind of guy, so it works for me!
And I also put a label on the bottom showing the DIP positions, because as a set and forget guy, FORGET is the operative word!
