You guys have been doing such awesome jobs on your pedals and especially the decals that I had to get off my rear and finish the ones I started. I finally got around to drilling and painting several enclosures so I could finish my DSOTM, Vibe and One Knob Fuzz among others. Nothing fancy with the graphics though. Now to finish my Southern Fried, Doom, Colortone Overdrive and Tonebender and a couple other boards. Need to pick up more spray paint and then convert the garage into a spray booth.

I like the simplicity a lot.  Very efficient and practical plus it looks really good.  Are you just hand spraying the enclosures and hand drilling??  They look really clean and pro!  Looks like you’re going to be busy this weekend and looks like a ton of fun stuff to work on.

All of em looks like great builds!

I bet you can’t wait to finish the next huge batch.

Yep I use a hand drill and a few uni-bits to drill my enclosures. I use different colored highlighters to mark and keep track of the different hole sizes. I used to drill a couple boxes at a time but with the NostalgiTone series it’s like 3 pedals in one so marking the boxes makes drilling go smoother. I’ll typically drill all the same size holes at a time and then move on to the next size. I leave jack and footswitch holes for last.

I use spray paint from the local hardware store. If I were building pedals for resale I’d go with professionally painted boxes but since they are for me that’s good enough. I need to step up my game on the graphics but it’s great Barry provides some with this series.

Looking forward to finishing these and for me that’s just part of the DIY journey. I’ve never been much of a fuzz user and always stuck with building overdrive and distortion pedals but that changed after playing with the Gypsy and Luna fuzzes. I built a OKF for the fun of it and I simply love it. Now I’ve got several fuzzes on my build list.
