A note on the build document for the Colortone Bass Fuzz mentions setting the bias. It says to measure the drain of Q1 with a DMM, but it looks like it is supposed to be Q4. I’m not sure where to submit stuff like this, and the forum is not searchable so I don’t know if this has already been brought up before.

Update: That is a typo. T1 is definitely to bias Q4.

FYI The forum is searchable. You have to do it from the top level.

Ok, thanks. I didn’t realize there was a search bar. I don’t come to the forums from the top level, so I have never seen it. I use the links on the right. Incidentally, it looks like there are a couple of other issues with the doc.

Why is R23 a range? I can’t find this in the notes. In the schematic, it’s simply listed as a 1k8.

The first page lists D1 under the status LED note, but it’s actually D3. Then, the next note says “D3 now uses a 1N5817 circuit protection diode”. I assume it’s meant to just say “this circuit now uses a 1N5817 circuit protection diode” since it appears to be an update to this version, and the diode in question is actually D4.
