just built Swah V5. Bypass works but effect does not. Led does not come on.Triple checked all connections and components for proper values. Help?
Generally no effect and no LED light would indicate a power issue. A couple of photos of the front and back of the board and associated wiring would would be helpful.

double check that your diodes are going the right way and your LED cathode is placed in the correct socket.
Ok led was defective. Also the LM13700 was defective. The signal now goes through but with no effect. The res control seems to increase treble but thats it.
Good pictures might help us find a bad solder joint. That is the usual culprit.
resoldered all connections no change the bias and res controls do something but not wah effect
