    Hi,

    seems I have an issue with the Vibe kit (bought on Musikding).

    I just populated the board, double checked all the components but when I turn it on I get only a volume boost and no vibrato at all.. even if I operate the trimmer.

    It’s my first build for this specific type of effect and I don’t know what can be the standard voltage values for the 2N5457.

    Can anyone help me?

    What transistors did you get with the kit I know musikding either send 5952s or 5457s which have opposite pinouts

    Yeah, I have 5457s and fortunately I realized it in time.

    This morning I’m going to check the solders because at the moment I don’t have any other ideas.

    Post some nice clear images Giovanni

    So that all component values and orientation can be clearly seen and wiring traced

    It’s very easy to not see something even if you’ve checked and checked again

    Did you do anything with the trimmer?  The Vibe and the Dr Phybes both have a specific spot where they work, a hair to the left or right and they don’t do anything.
