GuestI’m not much of a pedal-decorator guy, I mostly stay with a minimalist look. This pedal sounds really good, very adjustable, very dynamic and responsive. I haven’t used the pedal it’s inspired by, but from videos online I think it’s nearly identical.
The 1N34A diodes I have are ancient, so you may notice it sticking up there off the pcb. Also, I populated everything before realizing I wouldn’t need the on-board resistor for the LED. Also in my opinion the little 3PDT boards are worth every penny. I tend to use 1590bb enclosures even when I could probably get away with smaller… I don’t like feeling cramped trying to fit everything in, and I always include room for a 9V battery anyway.

SteveModeratorNice clean build! I have learned through experience and trying to stuff as much as you can into a small enclosure is not always the best plan. I called this one ‘just because you can, doesn’t mean you should’ pedal… This one worked when hooked up my breakout box, but refused to cooperate in the enclosure. 🙂 Ended up putting it into a 1590b and all was well with the world.

Big OParticipantI’m another one that doesn’t like stuffing a lot of boards in a smaller enclosure, so I probably use more 1590BB’s than most. But since I don’t gig anymore, I don’t have to worry about pedal board space.
I do like playing around with graphics though as that is one of the fun things I like about building pedals. I have returned to the less is more school when it comes to graphics as I felt my designs were getting too busy. If you notice that most of the commercial pedal builders keep their graphics simple.

GuestLuckily I lack the playing skills to worry about gigging, so my pedal board can stretch out as much as it wants 🙂
For those wondering, the diode is Sylvania, forward voltage ~0.33-0.34.

InactiveHere is my SWAH v5 Build. I called it the “Snow Plow” I really like this pedal! Great tone, super responsive!
