Hey all,
Just built a combo pedal for a friend using a Cranky Charles PCB along with a BB Preamp clone that I got from guitar-electronics.eu
Sounds great until the controls are turned up a bit too much and I begin to get the squeal that was mentioned in the Cranky Charles build notes.
Have changed the 10k resistor (R4) mentioned in the build notes out for a 20k but the problem still persists.
Have also tried routing the wiring in a couple of different ways, still can’t quite get the squealing to go.
It is mostly when I have the controls set fairly high (particularly when I have the BB cascading into the Cranky Charles. I included an ‘easy-order switch) and so it may not really be a problem for my friend when playing but I’d still prefer to do what I can to fix it rather than giving them a pedal which doesn’t work well through the entire range of its controls
Here is a gut-shot:

Any help/ideas would be greatly appreciated
Cheers,
Dan
