KeymasterCourtesy of Wilkie1:
With much humility and grateful thanks to PFF for the inspiration to create THE MEGA COMBO!
My brushed aluminum 1590DD with 13 boards, 8 footswitches, 3 toggles and an effects loop. The effects order is: PUFF>effects loop>MORC>Order Switch>ZEN>Dr. Phybes>Mini-Me>EA Tremelo>Tone TwEQ>Stage III>2 Knob Job for Master VOL and SOLO.
Additional changes include: MORC Release mod, Dr. Phybes SPEED LED, DEPTH pot, SCRIPT mod, Mini-ME Chorus SPEED LED, TREMELO wired ON w/ KILL switch and LED status, TONE TwEQ wired ON with VOL trimmer, STAGE III wired ON.
For info: total current draw with all boards active is only 50 mA.

KeymasterI know this thing is amazing! There are like 11 functional circuits not counting mods all within a 1590DD.
This is why we make the boards the way we do in case people wonder. It is all about the combo!

ParticipantYears later I am still amazed at this project build. Not something one would want to do multiples of. Wonderful and ingenious concept.

GuestThanks, gents. This was inspired by another GPCB Moderator, Playsforfun. He made a pedal with the extra enclosure mounted on top. That permitted using foot switches without hitting the pots. That idea led me to see how many effects could be mounted together in one enclosure. I still use this as an example to show players what can be done when they are ordering their own custom pedal.

KeymasterYes, I got to see it personally, and you would somehow expect it to be larger than it is in reality.

ModeratorIt is a masterpiece from a master. That’s for sure. I’m glad when anything I do is an inspiration to anyone here. After all, my inspiration came from members past and present, on this site. And after a long hiatus I’m going to jump back in this great hobby. I hope to inspire some more real soon. First I’ll have to take a gander at all the new boards you guys have been busy with. Members have been putting out some real fine work. Props for all the site and build documents upgrades, btw. It’s looking great.
