So, the pedal powers on.  The Bypass works, the LED works (although, in the powered but not on it’s green, with the on it’s red…but I don’t think that changes things too much or messes the circuit up right?  I prefer it that way).

I can hear the fuzz when it’s engaged.  It’s there somewhere.  It’s the tiniest fuzz in the world.  Like it’s a whisper on the wind.  I do not hear the loud fuzz I know it can be.

I’m going to include pictures.  I think I soldered pretty good for my first time out and no soldering experience previously, but I have read about cold soldering joints and the like and it was another beginner problem encountered on another post on this forum.

Maybe with some pictures someone might be able to recognize the problem quicker than myself.

I do have a multi-meter so that might be my next step.  I walked away from the project tonight mostly because I needed to think and do something else rather then stress about why my first pedal build isn’t working.

    Thanks in advance,

Everything looks the correct value and orientation can’t see the colour bands on R3 and values of C4 and 5 or clearly trace your wiring to the in jack

From your description that you can hear it faintly sounds like you’ve got a bad connection/ poor solder joint

This is a small circuit so maybe a good opportunity to make and use an audio probe whereby you’ll probably find your problem very quickly and learn a valuable debugging skill
