How much does this pedal board cost?

I was a little shocked after some quick math.

Anyway while I do not promote using the “C” word here “clone” (because I take the definition of the word seriously) I can say there is a “DIY” version at GuitarPCB for about everything on the above pedal board. I have no qualms about a work-alike version especially if said version is already based on something else anyway.

This is the reason i got into Building, you can get so much for so little =)

Care to share the math? im curious without having to google-search every pedal and clone kit costs to compare it.

I am not sharing the math til I see a little more participation or perhaps a guess or three.

Depending on the pedal version ie Zen made by Alfonso or not which go for £400 to £600 an original klon £3000 the Cornish G2 £1000

At least 6 grand in the Queens pounds and a sovereign or 2 + an arm and a leg

GPCB price fully completed, boxed etc I could make the lot for around a grand easy, that’s pricing each build using top quality everything, at between £20 to £40, some would cost a little less some a little more

A Sho for example would cost at the most £20

I agree with your math, Billy.  I find most GPCB builds will come in at an average of about $50 or so.  The enclosure is the most expensive item.  You can save if you do your own drilling , painting and artwork.  You also save if you build combo pedals!

I know Barry tries to source vital components that he can offer in his shop for fair prices.  This helps builders save on shipping charges too!

Alright I’ll throw in. I’m going to guess $30K. If I’m clairvoyant then it’s 30K.

I recently added up all of the pedal kits I built as well as all of the commercial pedals I purchased over the last 20 years or so.  Before researching current prices of pedals and kits as well as the price of discontinued pedals and kits when I obtained them, I figured the total would be around $1000. I was a little off.  The total was around $4000.  That is about $200/year or $4 per week.

“That is about $200/year or $4 per week.”

I spend more than that on coffee and I make my own and I drink it only with a bit of milk sometimes.

is that bad? I think not.
