    Hi there,

I am soldering and the Jacks for the Boogie 57 .  And I’m trying to make sure I don’t  attached the wrong wires  to the wrong sides  I’ve looked at the diagrams below  and  I can’t tell  which  side  is the ground and which wire goes to each.  Last time I wired jacks up  I did it wrong and ended up  pulling up the trace  and almost messed it up.  Can you look at the jack and assist?

Gabe the best way to check is to put a jack into the socket and follow the solder lugs round, this is a stereo jack but the principle’s the same for mono jacks you can see where the tip, ring or sleeve (ground) connect and follow it round to it’s solder lug connection

The ground lug is always directly connected to the sleeve

Guitarpcb boards have a white square pad with a small T for tip and a ground pad right next to it
