CybercowParticipantNot done with the build yet, but this is the intended enclosure mockup. Yes, I know I left out the switch. I’ll most likely rotate the enclosure 90 degrees before committing. (Mostly this is a test post for the newly rebuilt forum.)

InactiveThat looks great! I built one awhile back and really love it. I love that you can use the octave and distortion together or separately. The Emerald Ring sounds really good with other fuzzes too. I’m going to be building a Mastodon and Emerald Ring combo in the near future. Anyone tried those two together?

CybercowParticipantI decided to go with the landscape orientation of the BB enclosure to increase the distance between the stompswitches. (I have fat feet.) Both boards (Angry Red Camel and the Emerald Ring are populated, pot & jack wiring is next, now I just need to decide on which ‘critter’ to use for the waterslide decal on the enclosure. I’m leaning towards the first. And I’ll reserve “cute” for the Klon circuit I’m building. Any thoughts, suggestions are welcome.

Inactive- I like the first critter the best. It is more of a “menacing” sounding circuit anyway.

InactiveAnother thought about this build is the effect order. I tried it with Camel first and Emerald Ring second and vice versa. I prefer the octave before the overdrive so that the octave is really pronounced. If you want a more subtle octave effect, then overdrive first is the way to go, IMHO.

InactiveMark, you have great graphics. I just love them all.
I like the 1st critter best. I also like Pat’s suggestion, an easy order switch would be a nice add on.

Inactive- Good call on the easy order switch, Scott. Then either way you’re covered.

CybercowParticipantBarry, Wilkie, Scott, Pat – thanks for the feedback. I like the first photo best as well and am going with that one. I’m also changing the font to something a bit appealing for the image; along with some other tweaks. And I have both a 4P2T easy-order switch and an easy-order switch PCB on hand in case I decide going back and forth between primary & secondary circuits. I might need to alter my wardrobe and get some pointed shoes so I can better aim these fat feet of mine. This build might turn out more expensive than I initially anticipated.
