    i’d like to add a switch to a project that will give me three different resistance values.  ultimately, this is for the Ratt DLX and the Ruetz mod, with three different values aprox. from 0R – 100R.  i have a 3PDT On-Off-On switch.  will this work?
    On#1 = parallel resistors 120R + 1R = 0.9R
    Off = resistor 120R
    On#2 = parallel resistors 120R + 68R = 43.4R

    oh, more importantly.  if that works, are there better ways to do it with a toggle 🙂  looks like i could pull it off with a DPDT also.  please and thank you.

    You can get three different resistance values by using just a SPDT ON-OFF-ON switch!  Go to the build document for the MORC compressor in the shop and see what Tonmann did with a SPDT switch and three resistors, R16, R17 and R18.  It;s very clever!

    thanks again, Wilkie1!  here’s the kajigger, in case others want/need one.  3 positions, 3 resistances, 1 pole.

    The intricacies of switches stump me more often than not. So, if there was a ‘like’ button, I’d be pressing it for all it’s worth for this useful advice. Perhaps something to think about including in a website revamp?

    Best to all and may the pedal gods bless your builds.
