Hello, I’m about to attempt my first combo build/modded Muff’n. I’m wanting to build a Civil War Muff’n with the Tone TwEQ mod. Any helpful tips or advice? or Pictures of a Muff’n with a Tone TwEQ? I was thinking about getting a 1590BB enclosure to put it in. Thanks for any and all help!

You could just place them in series with the Tone TwEQ after the Muff’n. This would give you and additional volume control (see image). You could also use a trimmer as the volume control on the Tone TwEQ in this scenario as a set and forget inside the enclosure setting and just rely on tweaking the Bass, Mid and Treble for less knobs on the outside.

    That would be this:

The black knobs on the left would be the Tone TwEQ controls.

The white knobs are the Muff’n controls and in this case he also added a Stage 3 booster which is the boost knob.

Tips on wiring can be found on the Guides Page.

Building it this way will also give you a fully working Tone TwEQ for even when you are not using the Muff’n.

Awesome, thank you very much! That Muff is exactly what I was wanting(not necessarily the Stage 3 Booster, but the rest). Do you happen to have a wiring schematic for that Super Muff’n? And any pictures of the insides? Also, when wired like that pedal, does it bypass the Tone TwEQ when only the Muff’n foot switch is engaged? Like they are 2 separate pedals in one enclosure? Sorry for the newbie questions. Thanks for the help!

Re-read what I wrote and check the links.

My previous post has already answered those questions including a basic wiring diagram on how to wire pedals in series.
