I’ve had this PCB around for a while and I’m finally going to build it up. I’m going to use a Two Knob Job board to set up two speed options. As the speed pot will no longer be attached to the main PCB, does anyone have any suggestions on how to mount the PCB in the case?

Also, I’m wondering just what is SW1 used for?

SW1 switches between 2 stage and 4 stage but not suggested for the Vibe.

From the Guides Page here is the Combo Build section that shows solutions from many who built without on-board potentiometers.

In short the wire itself can hold the build in place or you can add double-sided Gel tape in a strategic location. It doesn’t take much.

Thanks for the reply. I’m going to use the double sided gel tape.

The PCB has ground connections next to the input and output. Is it better to wire these to the jack sockets rather than relying on ground return through the case metal?

    Thanks, Dave.

The wiring diagram in the build document shows the preferred method.

What purpose does TR1 serve? I don’t see anything in the build document to explain it’s setting.

    Thanks, Dave.

Since these type of transistors have a wide tolerance you can Adjust TR1 trimmer till you hear the best phasing typically around 12:00 – 1:00
