First, let me say thanks to Barry and the gurus here for the well thought out boards and instructions..  The Swah I built has made me very popular with a couple of my buddies, so I am going to make a few more for my friends.  Are there any components I should change to make the circuit more bass friendly?  Thanks.

Modify the filter sweep range from the standard 250 – 2500 Hz to 100 – 1300 Hz by changing the capacitors C4 and C5 to 47nF (previously 22nF). That should do it.

    Hi there from France

I did’nt build the pedal yet (i’ve just ordered it yestesrday), but i’ve read that R18 as to be adapted to be more bass friendly.
If i follow what you said above, I should change R18 from 22nf to 47nf to down the range?
I’m quite a beginner and I’d like to understand.

So do I have to change the two capacitors and the resistor? just one of them?
and will it still work with a guitar?

If I prepare sockets for these 3 elements on the PCB, can I try to change the values without damaging the circuit?

Thanks for your work and long life to the DIY

    Hi Nescio

Here’s a post from the old forum with lots of circuit information from Tonmann

Hi Nescio.  I have not built the one I had planned for my bass playing friend.  We did try my stock SWAH with bass and it sounded pretty dang cool as is.  I will report back when I get around to building one with the cap changes Barry suggested.
