InactiveWhat is a LFO?
I tested as you said and i get different value for example: i put black on pin 4 and red on pin 6 i measure 0.80 and while i hold the pins it drops to 0.69 Then i change the rate and i get different value, but it behaves the same way > it starts at a certain value and i am watching the value drop. Never going back up only going down.

I’ll move your post over to build support
Doesn’t sound like your LFO is working correctly but remember the IC is out of socket
Try the same thing with the IC back in it’s socket
The LFO output voltage should change or pulse as you turn the rate pot
In general your build looks pretty good so it may well be something simple like a dry solder joint I just think it’s better to try and find what’s faulty and learn as you go along for future builds rather than just reflow solder joints

InactiveHey Billy thank for all advice.
I think this build of mine is at a dead end.
besides resoldering i dont know what i can do with a non-working LFO as you describe it. What part is broken need to be replaced?
i suppose this first Pedal is a Mess because it is the first thing i made with lot of love, and also a lot of mistakes…. i realy hope i can get it working some day, but im so un-experianced in electronics it might take a while.
I wil open a new thread for my second pedal wich is a guitarPCB circuit i put together quite recently and quite nicely (if i say so myself)

Big OParticipantIf you do a little research on the internet you will find a good article on the Phase 90 on the Electrosmash website. It appears that the LFO, or Low Frequency Oscillator, chip (IC) for the phaser is the TL061. But that is about what my non-extensive knowledge about this circuit tells me. You may want to get another TL061 and replace the one currently socketed in your build.
I see from the build instructions that this is a complex circuit meant for experienced builders, so I am not surprised that an inexperienced builder would have difficulty with this pedal. Building multiple pedals from easy to moderate difficulty provides one the skills to tackle the more complex and involved pedal projects.

InactiveYes i agree =) for now i wil leave the pedal alone. I wil try to focus on easyer pedals, but my curiosity is causing me to buy kits that no matter the complexity.
I got a Ratt Deluxe i am working on now.
After that i have a Sunn-T and acapulco Kit all from Guitar PCB waiting in bags =)
THank you for you feedback Big O

BillyModeratorThere should be a 3 digit code on your trimmer 254 check to see what code it has on it
