This pairing was recommended to me by Barry, who mentioned that it delivers a lot of ’70s-style tones. The Dumbletone circuit’s harmonic richness pairs beautifully with the modulation from the phaser, creating a tone that’s both full-bodied and vibrant. As the phaser sweeps through the frequencies, it accentuates the subtle overtones and dynamics of the Dumbletone. All in all, it’s a great combo indeed!

Tried out a new clear-coat… it didn’t go so well. 😉

So many great 70s tones in that dual combo.

I think of old Rush (2112, Caress of Steel), Thin Lizzy, Foghat and so many more. Blues tones for days.

Add to that the ability to switch Order really makes a difference.

I might have to make an official Dual Combo for that.

    Thanks for sharing.
