Clearcoat’s finally dry. Tried out some new techniques for this one.
No gut shot because it’s the same as all the other NT pedals, but happy with the enclosure.
The base paint is supposed to be a hammer finish. It’s more a slightly-glittery, slightly-dimpled black. Meh. It’s not bad, just not a proper hammer finish. I’ll try a different brand later.
Printed on white decal paper this time. Custom fonts, cropped background, customized some knobs. Went with a theme.

Need to dial it in and play with it (It likes to run away and start a feedback squeal) but the knobs change that, so I’m sure that’s a matter of adjustments and that I haven’t tested it closed yet.

Nice work on the enclosure, nice design, cool theme, and the burnt knobs gives it a unique look. Just because there’s no spaghetti monster of wires to show off, a gut shot is still helpful for others to see component choices, inner layout spacing, jacks, and overall build quality with everything put together.

Regarding the Delay runaway repeats simply dial back the Repeats to 8:00 where there is only a single repeat and start with that. It only takes a few tweaks from there to get it to three repeats and then you can start harmonizing with yourself while moving through a scale. I rarely have my Repeats past 11:00 unless I am using it for a runaway noises by turning it up and then playing with the Time knob for Spaceship fun.

Well, for the sake of reference and future research…

I’ve definitely found some nice effect out of it, it’s just further down the dial than off-the-shelf pedals.
Of course, Boss and the like have to idiot-proof their pedals. I’d rather something lets me be an idiot and get some funky sound out of it. 😀
