The site has become inaccessible to me through Chrome, have to use Edge now due to anti-spam.  Just FYI

If the issue is specific to Chrome, it’s likely due to either a VPN setting or an extension/Add-on using an alternate IP to hide your online presence. This may conflict with anti-spam measures on the site. Unfortunately, with the rise in online bots and hacking over the past year, robust security measures have become essential to protect users and customers.

Many bots and hackers use fake or masked IP addresses to hide their presence. If an IP address gets flagged as suspicious or harmful, it can trigger blocks, even if it’s being used by a legitimate user or Add-on. In this case, you or the Add-on may need to switch to a clean, unflagged IP or update the configuration.

As an alternative, you could turn off the add-on or browser security or try whitelisting GuitarPCB.com in the settings to turn it off when only entering GuitarPCB.

Ill try some of those, although I did disable my VPN in case it was that.  What is weird is that it doesn’t flag me as suspicious, just doesn’t go past the check.  I certainly understand the need for the checks though.

This is activity in just the last few minutes.

    The bottom one is yours.

The top one is what I have to constantly deal with all day, all night, 24/7.

It occurred to me based on what you told me above it could be a CACHE issue with your browser.

So one way to check that is when you receive the CHECK screen try refreshing and see what happens.

If it works then it is a cache issue: Clear your browser cache.

If it doesn’t work I would still clear your browser cache and try again.

Again it could also be as I mentioned before that browser extensions, such as VPNs, ad blockers, or privacy tools, might interfere with the verification process.

Let me know what you find out.

We play browser “whack-a-mole” all day at work. It’s nice having Firefox, Edge, and Chrome available when sites give compatibility issues. I’m always prepared to switch browsers as-needed when sites give grief.

On Windows-based machines, verify that you’re running the browser you actually think you are: many malicious browsers get installed by hitting a wrong web page. WaveBrowser is a commonly encountered malicious fake browser, and I’ve had to help users uninstall at least three other similar beasts. All have desktop icons that look similar to the Edge browser icon. You can usually uninstall them via Control Panel.

Web standards change and browsers change their underpinnings. I’ve had to “reset” or “refresh” Edge, Chrome and Firefox on many machines to get the browser functioning in a stable fashion:

    • Firefox: settings -> help -> more troubleshooting information -> refresh
    • Chrome and Edge: search under settings for “reset to factory default”

For ad-blocking, Ghostery (Edge and Firefox) and uBlock Origin (Firefox) work well and give few issues. Can’t comment on Chrome; I refuse to use it, unless it’s “ungoogled Chromium”.

Clearing the cache didn’t help.  Running in incognito works though.  I will let you know if I figure something further out.
