    Hi there,

Yesterday I built a pedal using the Easy Order Switching board.  I followed the wiring as it’s shown in the diagram of pdf build document.   Turns out when wired that way, the input jack and output jack of the pedal is reversed!

I did think it was odd that “I”s of the effect were going to the “FXnO” of the board and vice versa.  But I figured the wiring diagram would be correct.   To my surprise, once the pedal was all boxed up, I got no sound.  After tracing the signal I realized the mistake, plugged my guitar into the output, and the input the amp, and viola, now it works.

Today I  will try to fix it by unsoldering the jack pads, as I didn’t leave enough wire to physically swap the jacks inside the pedal.

Well that didn’t go well.  I removed the solder from the output tip, but it took the pad with it.

And it looks like GuitarPCB is out of stock with these boards.  Guess I’m SOL with getting this pedal up for a while.

Got it sorted out.  Realized I could find the switch lug that connects to the output pad and soldered directly to the lug–gets the job done.

Now that my pedal is done and works I’ll post it in the “show your build” forum.

    Glad you got it working.

I see the error now. I have been completely redoing all the build docs (100) of them and that one got me.

I will switch those wires in the diagram. Apologies for the confusion.
