i can’t get this outta my head. i MUST have a phaser/vibe combo with the sync switch.  do you have a breakdown of the 4PDT sync switch?  is that a on-on-on switch?

Sure. The switch is a 4PDT On-On-On toggle switch.

In these next two photos, you can see where the sync switch ties in between the middle lug (#2) of the Depth (B10K) pots. (Note the yellow & green wires.)

And here’s my latest rendition of the dual chorus . . . .

On this one, I added Rate LED indicators. I sunk them just below the surface of the waterslide so they shine from beneath the waterslide. I like the white enclosure and blue theme labeling better than the purple.

Beautiful, CC. The name says it all…

The first chord progression is based on ‘You’re lost little girl’ if I’m not mistaken? Feel free to correct me if not 🙂

    Great stuff.

mybud – thank you for the kind words.

And yes, you’re right. The first chord progression is from “You’re Lost Little Girl” by the Doors.

Many moons ago I transcribed Robbie Krieger’s solo note for note for an album I recorded which included some of covers of some of my favourite songs. Not for commercial release.

It’s a great song and proof of Krieger’s musicianship in a simple but well-crafted solo. TMM the Doors’ songwriting abilities are mostly overshadowed by the controversy and mythology around Morrison and they are as under-rated as Jack Bruce and Pete Brown. My 2c worth. Thanks again and stay well.

mybud – I agree completely. Between Robbie and Ray, the compositional skills and note-for-note articulations are quite underrated. I was amazed to learn years ago how Ray used a Fender Bass Rhodes keyboard for the bass lines. It never occurred to me, (before learning that fact), from where the bass was coming. I assumed they simply had a hired bass player.

Hey Cybercow, regarding this “Instead of the 4-way rotary, I elected to use a DPDT (On-On-On) toggle switch with three different cap values (47pF, 100pF & 330pF) in dead-bug fashion.”

Do you have a clearer pic of that switch, or a diagram, of how to wire that up? I’d like to do the same to squeeze a switch into a 125B enclosure and not 100% sure how to wire it.

    Thanks!
