    So my bass player plays a lot of fretless and so usually brings 2 basses and would like to use an a/b switch to save a bit of time but the circuits on his basses are wildly different so I’m wondering if I can make an a/b using 2 tone-tweqs to give independent tonal control to each input. Would it be as simple as wiring both of their outputs to a single jack but not connecting their respective 3pdt boards?

    thanks for thoughts

    The DPDT Wiring Board should allow you switch between inputs (or outputs):
    Single input -> DPDT Wiring board -> Tone TWEQ fretted -> Output 1
    .                                                        -> Tone TWEQ unfretted -> Output 2
    Double input 1 -> Tone TWEQ fretted -> DPDT Wiring board -> Single Output

    Double input 2 -> Tone TWEQ unfretted ->

    I think that would work. It would be cool to play with.

    You could skip the 3PDT board and skip bypass and wire a TT to each side of the switch so one of them is always active. And you could have a different color LED to show which. There are more complicated ways. My favorite A/B switch device is the Paramix.
