I’ll let you know how it sounds after the IC’s are delivered. Also, I need to shorten the set-screws for the knobs I made and polish them.

Yeah that one is giving me a SciFi fever dream

    Love it!

Did you say you built a NostalgiTone Dual Combo earlier in a standard 1590BB and not the 1590BB2?

Yes, I have built a couple combo’s using the dual combo-creator in 1590BB. Other than being tight (usually because of component heights), the downside is I had to use non-conductive tape on the can caps to prevent rubbing, soldered a film capacitor closest to the jacks underneath the pcb and use small Jacks. I was also able to enlarge the hole for the Switchcraft #11 to make just enough space to keep the tip from hitting the component.

When I built the long enclosure for the Division Bell Statues with the 12 VDC Gauge I had to flatten the pot legs (1,2 &3), then bend them up as close to the fiber board as possible. Because that enclosure is deep it worked out well: I’ve since decided to drill the jacks after test fitting the controls, switches & populated boards.

So that confirms why I never suggested that anyone try to use a 1590BB, LOL.

The BB2 was such  sigh of relief when I figured out I wanted to do this a few years back and everyone started carrying them.

Kudos to you for making it fit though.

Yeah, I worked through my remaining BB’s and have switched to BB2’s.
