Yes, I have built a couple combo’s using the dual combo-creator in 1590BB. Other than being tight (usually because of component heights), the downside is I had to use non-conductive tape on the can caps to prevent rubbing, soldered a film capacitor closest to the jacks underneath the pcb and use small Jacks. I was also able to enlarge the hole for the Switchcraft #11 to make just enough space to keep the tip from hitting the component.
When I built the long enclosure for the Division Bell Statues with the 12 VDC Gauge I had to flatten the pot legs (1,2 &3), then bend them up as close to the fiber board as possible. Because that enclosure is deep it worked out well:
I’ve since decided to drill the jacks after test fitting the controls, switches & populated boards.
