Values will be between 118 hFE and 130 hFE. These are hard to obtain values.

These are the same transistors used in many current boutique fuzz builds by Dunlop, JHS, ZVEX, and others. The simple reason? They sound fantastic.

Each Rangemaster transistor will have hFE marked on the bags. I personally hand-sorted these.

All transistors are painstakingly tested for gain and leakage using a Pro Atlas DCA55 test unit and then marked and sorted. Please keep in mind I test these based on the temperature in my home which is typically 75 degrees. Depending on temperature values will fluctuate.

Disclosure: As with any transistor be 100% certain of the pin out before placing it in a circuit with power connected.
