LOL. I didn’t get to Ace today, so I am going to get it tomorrow and be double sure. Then I will get Voltages and Such.

No, I set DMM to Continuity,, was checking circuit and accidentally touched + and – and it beeped. So I started trying to figure out why . So I started with the DC socket and worked backwards. Even ran to WalMart and bought a Switchable DC wall wart, thinking my Gator power supply was bad.. Wall wart beeped as well. Worked back through the power strip, it beeps. Went all the way to the plug, all 3 holes, hot, cold and ground all beeped on both receptacles beeped.
IDK, maybe I’m high, or crazy! ????????????
Don’t make no damned since. Had to be a Bad DMM.
Going to Ace to pick up a new one later.
Just the simple 2 lug power jack. This crazy, no continuity issues when pulled apart and tested individually.. I took a cord from the back of my bass rig, plugged it in 3 different sockets, in 3 different sections of the house, all on different legs and continuity is showing across my hot and cold each time. So, has to be my damned multimeter!
Everything in the house and studio is working properly.
Has to be my KPS Multimeter, just got it in a week ago and everything I do is coming up like dead roses.
I suspect the wiring in this part of the house is bad. However, I have bought a universal, switchable wall wart to try. Same issue, no matter what I try, nor pedal or circuit, I show continuity and trying the effect/s is DOA. Very frustrating. The adapter and anything plugged in to the wall shows continuity. When not plugged in, the adapter, cord/s, and Effect circuits do not show continuity. SMDH
Thank You Billy. I will look into that. I was basing my query off the build document. I will go stock with this one and see how she sounds. We have a couple big shows coming up and I want to get it finished PDQ. I’m always rushing to get finished, just to wait on someone else!!!!! LOL
