Been a while since I’ve gotten to spend some serious time on electronics, but finally things at my job have cooled off. This weekend I can FINALLY finish all of the projects that I have 90% done, but haven’t gotten around to completing.
The Sho’Nuff is for a friend. The Aeon Drive and Sunn T I started forever ago, but have just gotten distracted. Lastly I am building another Emexar. This one in asym configuration for the clipping using silicon diodes (1S1588 the OEM TS diodes).
I also completely spaced out and forgot I also have these projects. Doom Prophet and WATT amp. I REALLY can’t wait till my 2 week vacation starts on Friday.
I’ve been so busy at work recently that when I get home I don’t have a lot of time so I just look for easy things to complete like soldering in all the resistors, but the result is that a lot of unfinished projects have piled up…..its almost certainly my ADHD too.

Looking good, Brent. These days (FWIW) I try to resist the temptation to push through with builds when I’m tired, distracted, or not fully involved for whatever reason. But then I have the luxury of enough time on my hands to do so. When I was employed, different story, saying to myself “C’mon, just another solder joint, what’s to lose?” Often this would result in mistakes through haste or plain carelessness and much resultant cursing and lamentation. Naturally enough, YMMV.
