Gryphon’s Breath is based on a the Shredding Eagle with a Squishy Octopus 

The Shredding Eagle is a really nice ‘hi gain’ style circuit that works well even at low gain. Adding to that active EQ and your options are wide. Putting a bit of compression in front really makes this thing sustain.

Excellent combo and well executed. I like the compressor before the distortion. This would make a nice pedal to carry out to jam night.
