    I’m a little confused as to which trimmer to use with a J201. Is it a 20K trimmer or 20 Ohm trimmer? It just says a 20 trimmer in the build doc. Also if I want to use the switch, I’m assuming it is a SPST on-on, correct?

    When using a J201 the trimmer would be 20K and you are correct the switch is an SPST on-on.

    A couple more questions. Would a 30K trimpot make much difference? 20K trimmers seem to be a little hard to get or take a long time to get. Where do you guys get your parts if they aren’t available here?

    IF you have a 30K trimmer, that will work.

    I prefer Mouser, Digikey, Allied, Bitches Love Switches and Small Bear for genuine parts and quality.

    Mouser ships very quickly and affordably.

    With some there is a wee learning curve using their site filters but is worth the time to figure it out.

    I avoid other usual suspects as I have been burnt too many times with junk.
