Finished the first of three pedals I am currently working on – an Angry Llama. This pedal has a real amp-like feel. Turn the volume down to clean up the dirt and then turn the volume knob up for dirt!
At first I thought I did something wrong in the build because the pedal was extremely noisy with a DC power supply plugged in. I turned everything electrical off and still heard the noise. Unplugged the power supply from the pedal and put in a battery. Voila – no noise! Obviously I have a pretty crappy power supply (One Spot) that I was using. Fortunately I have a better one in another room and will have to try the pedal with that.
