No sound and light in LED with MKC v4 with Buffer v3 board

Check resistance between VB the junction of R23 / 24 and IC1 pin 3 without powering the circuit

Hi,

So just a bit unsure about how to measure, so here’s what I did:

I put one of the probes on IC1 pin 3 and the other probe on each leg of R23 and R24. All measurements gave a value of approx 975 k Ohm, so almost 1 M Ohm.

You’re just measuring the resistance along that trace

So it’s all good as you can see on the schematic there’s only R3 1M between VB and IC1 pin 3

Post an image of the solder side of the pcb and visually check it for any solder bridges or joints that look ball like, grey or crumbly and reflow any dodgy looking joints

Everything between VB and pin 3 seems OK
