Hi! I bought your 3PDT Buffer Kit from Musikding.com, and I’m having wiring trouble now. I saw on the website that Barry is the person in charge of technical issues, so I apologize for sending a message here. Namely, I want to install a 3PDT Buffer Kit on my Crybaby GCB95 Wah pedal. I’ve tried many solutions, but they didn’t work. In the picture I am sending, on the left you can see how it is now (it’s working), and on the right what I actually want – to add the 3PDT Buffer Kit.

Can you review the image and tell me if this is the correct wiring? Also, I brought one GND wire from the PCB to the Buffer. Should I bring another one for IN GND and OUT GND? Have I placed the LED correctly?

    Thanks in advance!

Hello VR and welcome to the forum. Very nice drawing BTW. One reliable ground wire is fine for the buffer board. I’m not sure what the solution is you are looking for nor the problem but 2 questions arise for me about the drawing. First, is that a reliable and measured 9v source?  Second, does the Effect Input NEED to be grounded during bypass? Barry’s board won’t support that ground connection. During bypass the Effect Input will experience an open situation as opposed to grounded. If that’s cool I think it should work. Certain circuits require the input be grounded during bypass to block unwanted noises.
