Hi all, I had an idea to put a vibe board into my Crybaby GCB-95. It’s one from 87-89 (Switchcraft style jacks and a tan board). I’d like to put it on a footswitch to select between boards.

I have a Nux Horseman Klone that I got as a gift. The foot switch on this goes between on and bypass as normal, but if you hold it down for a second it switches between two modes (gold and silver – I added the link to the video so you could see what it does). This is how I’d like this work on the crybaby, so if you step on it and hold it down it switches between wah and vibe with the wah pot controlling either intensity or voice.

Do you think this would work?  And what kind of footswitch would I use for this application.

I think I can do it on a switch on the side, but I’d rather do it with the foot switch.

    Thanks

I think you are moving out of the analog realm and into digital with the hold down for extra switching. Here is an example of a footswitch off to the side, on a pigtail, instead of toggle switch, as an option.

Got it. Thanks for the answer and a good option.
