almost a perfect build and almost no issues 😉 my volume pot behavior is reversed. otherwise, this is a super nice-sounding … overdrive? pseudo-cab? distortion? .. it does a whole lot depending on volume before and after the gain stage. after playing around with it, it will go at the end of my gain pedals. I added a clipping option between some germaniums and led. both sound killer with subtle differences. i have a lingering issue with a stripped power jack nut – my fault and correctable, and I’ll overcome the pot issue. thanks all for the contributions to this and other forums!
A few boards slipped past my radar a long while back. They had lug 1 and 3 reversed.
My apologies.
If you wish to change that you will need to reverse lugs 1 and 3 by hand wiring a potentiometer. That would be the only solution. Not a difficult fix.
