Boogie ’57 Biasing

Hey all –

For fun, I’m thinking about rebiasing the transistors in my Boogie ’57. Right now, they’re all biased to a standard 5v; anyone have any suggestions I can try? I’m not looking for any specific sound, I’m just playing around.

The standard biasing for any non-fuzz would be half the supply, so 4.5v to 5v is what you want for proper operation.

Yep, that’s exactly where I’m. Was just wondering if there’s any quirky/fun exploration to be had via rebiasing. If not, it works really well at 5v.
